Chapter Philanthropy

One of the most rewarding parts of being a member of Phi Mu is being involved with a group of women dedicated to something so much bigger than ourselves. Phi Mu's live out our creed every day, and we aim to make our philanthropic involvement more than just a donation. 

Beta Nu frequently partners with WVU Medicine Children's Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have not been able to visit the children, but we hope to very soon in the future. It always a pleasure to visit the children and see them smile. They have made just as big of an impact, if not bigger, on our personal lives. 

Every year, our chapter holds annual philanthropy events to support CMN Hospitals. We host Wing Fest (partnering with Beta Theta Pi), Pie a Phi (partnering with Phi Kappa Tau), and the 3v3 Basketball Tournament. You can find us on campus holding fundraisers such as Milkshakes for Miracles and Cheesin' for a Reason, as well as toy drives and card-making tables. 

Aside from our work with CMN Hospitals, Phi Mu's national philanthropy, we also work with a variety of local organizations near Bethany. Some of our most recent local projects include collecting donations for the Friendship Room in Steubenville, OH and making festive dog treats for the Brooke County Animal Shelter.
